PEIXES brown

António Ramalho, from Barcelos in northern Portugal, is the son of Júlia Ramalho and the great-grandson of Rosa Ramalho, two of Portugal's most famous ceramic artists. António was born into a family of ceramicists, so it is not surprising that this female heritage is so present in his figures: through the figurative motifs and imaginative creatures of northern Portuguese folk art.
