Collection: RAPHAEL

Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro (1846 – 1905) was a Portuguese artist specializing in drawings and ceramics. His colorful style still characterizes the ceramics factory named after him in Caldas da Rainha in central Portugal. Imaginative animal motifs, flowers and plants, such as the well-known cabbage leaves, please Portuguese grandparents just as much as design-loving grandchildren.
